The second seminar of Pile Foundation Technology in Zhenjiang Province

Nov 16, 2018 the second seminar of Pile Foundation Technology in Zhejiang Province was held in Wenzhou. The seminar was sponsored jointly by the Geotechnical Engineering Society of Zhejiang Province and the Pile Foundation Engineering Committee. 

More than one hundred representatives of the foundation industry attended including people from universities, scientific research institutes, construction standardization and quality along with many other aspects of the foundation industry attended this important event.

Mr. Lu, the Senior engineer of the Ougan Group, gave an important presentation titled “The application of bi-directional static load test technology in foundation piles and how to select a suitable load cell. The Ougan Group was the only load cell manufacturer to attend and present at this conference highlighting the importance of the Ougan Group and the Super Cell in the foundation industry. During his presentation Mr. Lu explained the principle, the advantages, development history and application of the bi-directional static load test. And the importance of choosing the correct load cell for the testing requirements. 

At the end of the presentation participants were given the opportunity to ask questions and discuss any problems occurring in the “real world” on the job site. Ougan’s engineering staff was present to help Mr. Lu with this lively conversation. In the end the presentation by Mr. Lu was very well accepted and helped to solidify Ougan as the world leader in providing load cell solutions.
